2011 Big Ten Legends Division Champs!

MSU clinched the Legends Division Championship today with a win over Indiana. Second year in a row we won all of our home games...Bless you boys!

Fall trip to Chicago

I visited with our niece Danielle aka Dani. She will be 39 in March.

Camping with the Diekmeyer's

Tom and Judy came up from Cincinnati and we met at Harbortown in Monroe. We went over to Marble Head by Port Clinton for a picnic.

Visit with the Grands

Drove over to visit with the kids one more time before school starts in August. We did a little shopping at Oak Brook Mall.

All well and driving the bus

Took it for my first test drive...scary. I don't think I'll do that again.

New apparatus

Got yet another foot thingy. This is an Aircast/boot; much more comfortable than the other casts. To my MSU friends...the yellow sticker is Gone!

Another sweet visitor

Jan stopped by and brought some soup and Mia was with her. Such a nice surprise to see both of them....Thank you.

Mother's Day Visitor

Molly and Grace surprised me this evening. We went for a walk on the trail in the morning...they pushed me in the wheel chair. Such a sweet thing to do.

Hard to keep a good woman down

I just can't keep still...not in me. I'm trying to pull my weight around the house. Ed has been a wonderful nurse and housekeeper throughout all of this.

Second cast

After the 1st week, I got a new cast. I even got to select the color! It has a toe guard to protect the pin in my second toe. It provides a lot of protection.

Very special visitor

My great nephew Brandyn is safely home from Afghanistan and came up to see me. Best medicine EVER!

Mode of transportation

I'm putting my knee on the seat of a walker and "scooting" my way around.

Foot surgery, April 5th

This is the post-op bandage. Must keep my foot elevated 24/7 for two weeks.

Novi Bowl...the next generation

Molly, Rob and kids spent part of their Spring break with us and we joined up with the Genitti/Rentz gang to make more memories.

Roxanne and I went to the Ft. Wilderness Lodge and Celebration today. We came home and Ed fixed us flank steak on the grill and we enjoyed one last meal outside.

John and Toni took off to pick up Laura and family for a Disney cruise...We'll see them back home in April.

We took Roxanne to Downtown Disney and then a boat ride to the Grand Floridian.

We had lunch at Pei Wei with one of our former Cincinnati neighbors, Heather. It was great to see her and know she's doing so well. We had some wonderful times at Eagle View.

Surprising Frank Lloyd Wright find

The largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in the world is at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. They were built from 1941-1958. We visited there today. Shown here are the Chapel with the glass lights from the inside, the Water Dome, Esplanades, and the original library on campus. Constructed mostly by students and mostly women.
