Blue Lake State Park and the Manitees

We drove up to Orange City to see the manitees.

Great day for a picnic also.

 

This one is being tracked by Sea world

 

We probably saw about 50 living in this area off the

Saint John's River

 

There were other critters living along

the banks of the river; gators and armadillos.

 

The original homestead.  That tree has been there

for as long as the house...140 years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Ed's Birthday

 

Aunt Mary made Ed cupcakes for his birthday and

we all celebrated.

 

New Neighbor

We have a new neighbor in the pond across the street.

Our friend Al made a desk for

us to use on the steering wheel.

The giraffe was almost in the Land Rover with us.

 Rare to see hippos outside the water.

It was a beautiful cool morning.

Disney Hotels

My neighbors Judi and Joy and I went

to walk around and browse the Disney Hotels today.

We went to the new Art of Animation Resort.  There

are four separate areas with hotels.  Little Mermaid,

Lion King, Finding Nemo and Cars. 

Very cute for younger children.

Dog sitting Sebastian

We don't want a dog but we love Sebastian

so we get to dog sit sometimes.

 



Tamales!

We have been on the hunt for really

good Tamales and finally found them in

Winter Garden today.  Brought them home and shared

with our neighbors. Mmmmm good.

 

 



Back to Epcot

We spent a little more time exploring Epcot today.

We went to the fish tanks in The Seas.

Toni at the Gift Shop

My friend Toni Genitti is working in the gift shop

at the local hospital.  She has all these dancing

toys and had them all going at the same time.  Waaaay

too much time on her hands there.
