Lucas's First Christmas

As much as we missed them, I
couldn't be happier that John and Erin
had Christmas in their own
home with their son Lucas.

All ready for church.  And, they
said he was a very good boy.

First car!  Not sure what make or model.

Not only can he drive, but read too!

He is THE happiest little guy.

Grandma Patty.

Christmas cookie baking

The kids came over to spend the night
and bake our annual Christmas
cookies; Oreo balls, Caramels,
Peanut butter cups and Lemon Cookies.
Grace took charge of the Oreo balls.

Anthony helped Ed with the caramels

Andrea took charge of the Lemon cookies.

Grace also was in charge of
the music and entertainment.
Great evening.

Christmas at Bethany Lutheran School

So thankful that our grandchildren can
attend this exceptional Christian school
especially at Christmas time.
Anthony plays the trumpet and
did a really fine job.

Andrea and her buddies ready for showtime!

Since they were in 4th Grade, Andrea
and Macey have been the Greeters
for the opening of the concert/program.

Thanksgiving 2017

Molly and Rob hosted 19
combined family members for dinner
this year and a whole weekend
of fun.  Rob's Aunt and Uncle
Den and Aunt Renee, cousin Dennie,
wife and son from Pittsburgh
brother Bill and wife
Patty and daughter Paloma.
Rounding out the McLoud clan was
John, Erin and Lucas.

The girls enjoyed some time with
their new cousin.

Got a shot of our 4 grandchildren from oldest
Grace 17, Andrea 13, Anthony 11 and
Lucas 5 months.

Ed and I enjoyed some time with Lucas at
our home while Mom and Dad spent an
evening in Chicago.
Holding that bottle pretty good on his own

Loves looking at
himself in the mirror

He REALLY loves his big toe!
Oh to have that flexibility.

Donations to Crown Point Veterans Clinic

Our knitting group took all these
handmade items to the clinic
for distribution to veterans
in need of a warm hat, scarf or
lap afghan.  So proud to be a part
of this project.

Two Memorable MSU Weekends

We traveled to East Lansing for
a reunion of the National Championship
Game of the 1966 team vs Notre Game
that ended in a 10-10 tie.
Celebrating with Sparty

We were joined by some Notre Dame
players and a good time was had by all.
Unfortunately this game did not end in a
tie or a Victory for MSU.

The following weekend we returned to celebrate
with Bob Apisa as the University honered him
by inducting him into their Sports Hall of Fame.
Also inducted was Joe Baum, friend and
former soccer player and coach.

Volleyball

Andrea and her team
had a very successful season.
