Happiest place on Earth!

Here we are with pictures to prove it that Ed went to the happiest place on Earth. Beautiful day as you can tell. We visited Hollywood Studios, Epcot and the Magic Kingdom.

Visiting the Saputo's and Barb

We drove up to Leesburg today and visited with Jeana and Sal Saputo and Barb Fermanski. Jeana helped me learn to crochet. We had lunch and back to their place for dessert...rice pudding, of course.

Just another day in paradise

After a day of quilt shops and lunch in Winter Haven we came home to a prime rib dinner with LT and Katheryn; compliments of John Genitti with his convection oven.

A day without oranges...

We went out for a drive and stopped here for Honeybells. We pulled up and Ed asks, seriously, "what are we going to get here?" I love the man but shopping is not his forte.

Home away from home

No more snow for awhile. This is our new home away from home. We arrived in Davenport around 2:30 on Saturday; only 205 miles of driving. Getting things set up and meeting neighbors. One has two legs, a sand hill crane and the other has four, an armadillo. Walked up to one of the clubhouses and took a little tour of the area and went out to dinner.

Florida trip, 2011

We headed out for Florida this morning in snow. We left it in Ohio and picked back up again just past Lexington. The worst of it was in the mountains through Tennessee. A trucker friend of ours gave us some sage advice..."If there is spray coming off truck tires, you're on wet pavement. If they stop spraying, get to the nearest rest area, pour yourself a cocktail and wait it out." We made it to Lenoire, TN before we had the cocktail in the Walmart parking lot where we spent the night; 543 miles on Friday, 430 miles on Saturday. Spent the night in Valdosta, GA at a KOA.
