Laying Dani to rest

Davis Cemetery  in Bellaire, Ohio

Ed took a stroll through the cemetery

with his cousin Todd.

 

Dani is back with her Mom and Dad,

Grandma, Pap-pap and Aunt Doris

 

It's a pretty view into West Virginia,

 

Todd has us back over to

his house for a really good chili supper.

 

 We also got to visit with Ed's cousin

Barbara Meek on his dad's side of the family.

 

Trip to Eastern Ohio and visit with Mike and Tami

Our nephew Mike has a lake home and

this is his new "garage" and "over-flow"

apartment for guests.

 

These are a couple of classic cars

Mike's been restoring.

 

 

Ed got to sit on our old couch but no

time for a nap.

Mike and Tami in the kitchen starting

some clam chowder for their annual

lobster boil this evening.



 

 

More visitors, Kris and Bill

Kris and Bill came by for lunch on

their way to see their son Johathan

in Chicago.  We're not too bad at selfie's.



Anthony and Grace visit

Labor Day weekend and we picked the two of them up.

This afternoon we went through photo albums

and Anthony and Ed watched a movie later.

 

Rob and Molly came on Monday.  Rob helped

Ed put up some new cabinets in the laundry room.

 

Anthony helped me clean out the basement

of the motorhome.

 

 

Martini Night

We meet for Martini's or whatever

is your pleasure with neighbors.

Nice group and glad to making

new friends.  Just remembering my

Girl Scout motto "make new friends

but keep the old, one is silver and

the other gold".



Kevin Belka Visit

Nice surprise visit from Kevin.

He had been in Nebraska for

his brother's wedding and took

the long way back to South Carolina.

 



Dowagiac with Ted and Barb Bohn

Perfect time for a get-away after the wedding.

We visited Barb and Ted at their lake home.

Beautiful pontoon and lovely

evening for a ride.  Perfect weather

and gracious and wonderful time with

good friends.
